The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association is seeking entries for its ARMA Excellence in Asphalt Roofing Awards Program, which recognizes the best steep- and low-slope asphalt roofing projects from throughout North America. The submission deadline is Dec. 1.
ARMA Excellence in Asphalt Roofing Award winners will receive a monetary prize (Gold—$2,000; Silver—$1,000; Bronze—$500), as well as recognition in various media outlets.
The entries will be judged regarding four criteria: beauty, project challenges, distinction and why the submitter chose asphalt.
In addition to the medal winners, the panel of judges may propose specific projects for best-in-class categories at the end of the evaluation process. The categories include In the Neighborhood, Commercial/Mixed Use, Craftsmanship and Technical Difficulty.
