Deadlines are approaching for scholarship opportunities from the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association and Western States Roofing Contractors Association.
MRCA established the MRCA Foundation in part to provide financial assistance to MRCA member company employees and their families pursuing higher education at an accredited university or trade school. Candidates must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a trade school, college or university, or a high school senior provisionally accepted at an educational institution and expressing intent to pursue a degree or certified trade program with at least a 3.0 GPA or B average equivalent. The Davis Memorial Foundation is administered under WSRCA and awards scholarships to individuals who want to further their education, giving priority to students who want to attend a trade school or earn a college or university degree that relates to the construction industry. Employees, spouses and children of roofing industry professionals in particular are encouraged to apply. Awards are based on academic and personal achievements.
