Don’t miss NRCA’s webinar about ASCE 7-16 revisions and wind-uplift design

NRCA University will offer NRCA University Webinar: ASCE 7-16 Revisions and Wind-uplift Design June 18 at noon CST.

ASCE 7-16, Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures, is published by the American Society of Civil Engineers and has been significantly revised from previous editions. ASCE 7-16 serves as the basis for determining design wind loads for buildings, including roof systems, so awareness of the revisions is important.

During this one-hour webinar, Mark S. Graham, NRCA’s vice president of technical services, will explain the roofing-related changes to ASCE 7-16 and the effect they will have on roof system design. Topics will include ASCE 7-16 and its applicability; roofing-related changes contained in ASCE 7-16; ASCE 7-16’s effect on perimeter and corner fastening; and how ASCE 7-16 differs from ASCE 7-10 and ASCE 7-05.

The webinar is free for members and $55 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, click here.
