Advanced Fall-protection Strategies for Roofing Professionals is an eight-hour virtual course designed to provide advanced training for individuals serving as a fall protection competent person in roofing operations. As a follow-up to the Fall-protection Trainer Course for Roofing, this course provides a comprehensive review of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M, USACE EM 385-1-1, and ANSI Z359.2-2023 requirements specific to the competent person role.
Participants will enhance their ability to identify, evaluate and mitigate fall hazards while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The course includes interactive discussions, case studies and practical applications to reinforce the critical decision-making responsibilities of a competent person.
Although not a requirement, participants are encouraged to complete the Fall-protection Trainer Course for Roofing, Roofing Industry Fall Protection A to Z course or similar training before taking this course.
