The Roofing Alliance, celebrating 25 years as the foundation of NRCA, has announced a new award—the Bennett Award.
The award is in honor of Bennett Judson, the Roofing Alliance’s executive director and NRCA’s vice president of meeting services, who also was the first recipient of the award during NRCA’s Fall Committee Meetings. The Bennett Award recognizes individuals who makes things happen for the betterment of the roofing industry.
Judson began her career at NRCA more than 40 years ago. As the Roofing Alliance’s executive director since 2003, she has embodied the type of leadership that truly brings the highest level of professionalism to the roofing industry.
“The Bennett Award acknowledges the venerable Bennett Judson and her inspiring 40-year career in the roofing industry,” said Dave Lawlor, the 2021-22 Roofing Alliance president. “Bennett is an exemplary team player who is also organized, passionate, tireless, professional, humble and positive. Anyone who has had the pleasure to work with or alongside her knows this recognition is well-deserved.”
The Bennett Award will be presented annually and recognize individuals who volunteer and offer notable positive accomplishments on behalf of the Roofing Alliance and the industry. It will be presented to future honorees during the Roofing Alliance’s spring meeting.
