NRCA’s Cyber Monday sale Nov. 28 generated $832; all the proceeds will be donated to the charity that wins the 2023 CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award.
The CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award honors charitable works performed by NRCA contractor members in the communities where they live and work. Previous winners include:
- Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin, which operates a village of 15 tiny homes that house military veterans who are at risk of homelessness or recovering out of homelessness
- The Bahamas Strong Foundation, which was created to repair homes in the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian struck the islands in September 2019, causing $3.4 billion in damage and leaving 70,000 people homeless
- Miracle League of Metro Denver, an organization that provides children and adults who are living with various mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league
- A Roof Over Your Head, an organization that helps homeowners in need of household repairs
- Shadowfax, which provides services to mentally, emotionally and physically challenged individuals and finds them meaningful work
