Semesters are between 16 and 19 weeks and include two to four hours of weekly coursework during the semester.

The summer intensive session in Chicago consists of four full days of classes and nightly networking activities.

The winter intensive session at the International Roofing Expo® includes two full days of classes.

Students must complete all coursework and intensive classes and attend networking events prior to graduation.

To preserve the open and candid nature of the FEI experience, two individuals from the same location will not be accepted into the same class. A second applicant from a different location may be considered only if space allows and will be subject to an interview by the admissions committee.

Materials are provided via the Learning Management System or handed out in class, depending on the instructor. Textbooks are shipped directly to students.

Not at this time.

To graduate, students must complete all coursework and attend every class and networking event during in-person intensive sessions. If a student cannot meet this requirement, he or she may pause participation and resume with the next cohort for that semester

FEI graduation takes place at the NRCA Industry Awards and Reception during the International Roofing Expo.

If a student cancels more than 14 days before the summer semester starts, NRCA will issue a full refund.

No refunds are available for missing any part of the summer or winter in-person intensive sessions. FEI staff will help students make up missed sessions or coursework during the next cycle, applying previously paid fees to those sessions. However, tuition may increase or additional fees may apply.
