Roof sheathing fastening schedules for wind uplift

Abstract
This report provides recommended fastening schedules for oriented stand board and plywood roof sheathing. The recommended schedules were established to provide resistance to wind uplift pressure, with particular emphasis on high wind exposure. A comprehensive approach was followed in developiong these fastening schedules. Performance of various fastening schedules was demonstrated in lab tests. A process for fastener schedule design was developed with reference to demonstrated performance. This design process is presented with adequate background to allow for general use by designers and regulatory officials.
