Abstract
Properly selecting and specifying shingle fasteners are important to ensure an asphalt shingle roof system’s performance and longevity. Following is a brief discussion of code requirements, manufacturers’ instructions and NRCA’s guidelines for fasteners usedto attach asphalt shingle products.
