New waterproofing systems: thermal energy reduction during application, improved safety and use of thermosensitive insulation board

Abstract
In this document the experience of new types of waterproofing mambranes is discussed, manufactured with composite product technology. In this kind of product the waterproofing compound is stratified in different layers, each one having different compostion and properties. Specifically the experiences related to the following products are presented: self-adhseive products, products which become adhesive under slight thermal action; and products for renovation and restoring.
