Abstract
These guidelines were developed to summarize for the designer, applicator or developer good roofing practice and industry guidelines for the installation of the mechanically-set and mortar/ adhesive-set tiles, which have been developed over a period of time from actual trade practice and the requirements of various building code agencies. These guidelines may not be applicable in all geographical areas. It is the responsibility of those individuals who are referring to these guidelines to independently research and determine which is best for their particular project.
