Abstract
In supplying our first 100 extensive green roofs, Emory Knoll Farms has learned many lessons and refined its plant lists. We have spent an inordinate amount of time and energy on Research and Development (R&D) relative to a typical nursery’s efforts, in order to try and develop reliable green roof lists that will work in different regions across the U.S. This presentation will share some of the lessons learned over the past five year and, hopefully, prevent others from the same burden of effort as the market develops.
