Timber Frame House, Shingle Style Wrapper Stick building creates porches, dormers and roofs

Abstract
Homeowners wanted a shingle-style exterior that included a porch, dormer, bay windows and turnet. Inside, they wanted a timber-frame construction. The challenge of this project was to combine the stick built characteristics of the shingles with the post and beam methodology of timber framing.
