As companies make efforts to keep workplaces safe, they are looking for disinfecting products that can help kill COVID-19. One of the challenges with complying with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to disinfect tools, vehicles, workstations and other surfaces is the potential harm some disinfectants may cause.
NRCA has not tested any disinfecting products but wanted to raise awareness that some disinfecting products may be safer than others for use on equipment, materials and fabrics. Be sure to research products you are considering and test their safety on the surfaces where they will be used.
