Contractors launch inaugural Construction Inclusion Week Oct. 18-22

A group of construction industry leaders will celebrate the first-ever Construction Inclusion Week Oct. 18-22 to build awareness; celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion; and provide educational and business resources for the industry. The theme for the inaugural Construction Inclusion Week is “Building the Foundation for Inclusion,” which is meant to encourage focused dialogue and action in the industry.

All members of the construction industry are invited to unite to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. Construction Inclusion Week encourages participating firms to organize activities on their job sites and in their offices that offer opportunities for construction professionals to discuss leadership commitment and accountability; unconscious bias; supplier diversity; job-site culture; and community outreach.
