The Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Women’s Bureau, Wage and Hour Department, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration will hold a free online panel discussion March 9 at noon EST to address employment rights and opportunities for women in the construction industry.
During Building a Brighter Future: Engaging Women in Construction, participants will learn about career opportunities in construction; how to succeed as a woman in construction and other male-dominated/majority male industries; how job training programs can recruit and retain more women; apprenticeship programs and opportunities; and rights, protections and resources available.
