Nominations are open for the 2022 Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award, which is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance in partnership with CPWR—The Center for Construction Research and Training. The winner of the award receives $15,000 and is recognized in various ways.
The Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award recognizes innovative evidence-based technologies, work practices and programs (interventions) designed to reduce or eliminate construction hazards that lead to injuries and pain in the construction industry. This year, the eligibility criteria have been expanded beyond technologies and tools to include grassroots or media campaigns focused on reaching smaller contractors or higher-risk segments of the construction workforce, as well as efforts to introduce safety information and resources at key contact points for construction workers, such as big box stores.
