NRCA members IB Roof Systems, Irving, Texas, and Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, Irvine, Calif., partnered to provide a new roof for Thomas House Family Shelter’s new property. IB Roof Systems donated all the materials and products for the project, and Antis Roofing & Waterproofing offered to provide the labor at no cost.
For more than 30 years, Thomas House Family Shelter, Garden Grove, Calif., has served the community by providing a safe, supportive environment and the resources necessary for homeless families with children to remain together while empowering them to become independent and self-sufficient. The new property will act as an expansion for Thomas House Family Shelter, increasing capacity from 16 to 24 apartment units to house homeless families with children.
“IB Roof Systems is honored to have supported the incredible work being done at Thomas House Family Shelter,” said Jason Stanley, CEO of IB Roof Systems. “Through the involvement of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, IB’s Contractor of the Year, we were able to provide top-tier roofing materials for safe and secure homes for the families being served by Thomas House Family Shelter.”
“We are overjoyed to be part of this story at Thomas House, keeping these eight families safe and dry when they need it most,” said Charles Antis, founder and CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing. “I love our industry! Thank you to IB Roof Systems for your generosity in donating everything!”
