NRCA has made available materials to help roofing companies promote the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s National Safety Stand-Down May 3-7; the purpose of the event is to raise awareness among employers and workers about the hazards of falls in the construction industry.
OSHA, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the National Occupational Research Agenda and the Center for Construction Research and Training will lead the effort to encourage employers to pause during their workdays for topic discussions, demonstrations and training regarding how to recognize hazards and prevent falls.
Check out email signatures, flyers and posters available on NRCA’s safety stand-down page.
Additionally, hard hat stickers and hazard alert cards for the 2021 National Safety Stand-Down are available but must be ordered by April 15.
