The National Roofing Legal Resource Center has made available NRLRC Contract Provisions Volume VII, a volume of formal legal contract provisions that offers consumers an easy format that can be inserted directly into contracts; the publication is available only as an electronic version.
The contract provisions are written by attorneys who are experts in construction, compiled by NRLRC and come with plain-language, easy-to-understand explanations. The volume includes 20 key issues, such as monitoring a subcontractor's wage payment practices; roof deck conditions suitable for work; and timing and documentation for back charges, among other issues.
The publication is free for NRCA members and $395 for nonmembers.
