The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will hold Safe + Sound Week, a nationwide event to celebrate the successes of businesses that have implemented safety and health programs in the workplace, Aug. 7-13.
Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line. Participating in Safe + Sound Week can help get your program started, energize an existing one or provide a chance to recognize your safety successes. You can sign up on OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week webpage to participate and help raise awareness about workers’ health and safety.
NRCA encourages members to show their commitment by promoting Safe + Sound Week within their companies and sharing their plans. View more information about Safe + Sound Week.
