Safeguarding roofing workers from heat-related illnesses is crucial as heat waves occur more frequently, creating high-heat working environments. During the webinar, Cheryl Ambrose, NRCA’s vice president of enterprise risk management, and Adrianne Anglin, NRCA’s director of safety and risk management, will explore effective strategies and best practices for mitigating heat exposure on the job, including proper hydration, rest breaks and the use of cooling technologies. Additionally, they will examine current and upcoming regulations that aim to enforce working conditions and minimize health risks related to heat exposure.
