Abstract
This sixth edition of the National Electrical Code® Handbook is based on the 1993 edition of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code. The nation's most authoritative and comprehensive document on electrical safety, the code addresses safety from fire and electrocution. The code is developed by NFPA's National Electrical Code Committee. This committee consists of a broad range of representatives from the electrical industry, including electricians, engineers, electrical product manufacturers, electric utilities, code enforcers, research and testing organizations, and insurers.
