Abstract
The hurricane season of 1995 will remain an unpleasant memory for the managers of properties and business operations along the U S Gulf Coast and the Caribbean Sea. Punctuated by mega storms in the region the damage left behind was staggering. New knowledge continues to accrue as construction practices change, new materials are used and storm tracks result in damage to different localities and properties. Following are some of the principal findings.
