Abstract
This paper is concerned with stability analayses of a glue-laminated timer (glulam) dome under snow and wind loads. Two finite element methods are used in the analyses: a non-linear method that computes the buckling load and a combined non-linear/linerar eigenvalue method that provides estimates of the buckling loadd. Results obtained by the two methods are compared.
