The NRCA PROCertified® Metal Shingle Systems Installer certification verifies the knowledge and skill of an experienced roof systems installer.
To become NRCA PROCertified, you must meet all eligibility requirements and pass a hands-on performance exam.

- A minimum of 36 months' installing metal shingle roof systems on steep-slope roofs, including but not limited to measuring, cutting, field fabrication of .032 prefinished aluminum shingles, various flashing details, valleys and penetration details, are required. Installers need to be familiar with the installation of underlayment materials.

Hands-on Skills Assessment
This assessment is completed on a mockup with a Qualified Assessor directing the candidate to complete specific details. Qualified Assessors are roof system experts, independently contracted by installers and/or roofing contractors to administer hands-on performance exams. Find an approved Qualified Assessor.
