The subject matter of each NRCA ProCertification designation is contained in a job task analysis document. The JTA is a foundational document from which the computer-based knowledge test and hands-on performance exams are developed. This document is created by bringing together a group of roofing-industry experts to discuss and determine the knowledge, skills and abilities required of installers of each respective roofing system. The process of conducting a JTA is an industry best practice and vital to ensuring certifications represent the industry at large.
